Steven Thorne holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Old Dominion University and has experience in teaching in the private studio, classroom, and as a marching band instructor (Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach).

Classroom educators are usually not proficient on all instruments and students are sometimes left behind.
